What is this Vexation of Spirit?

We are born into a life of trouble. As surely as sparks fly, we are in difficulty. We are vexed constantly until the day we die. The human race is living in a world of trauma. Our entire planet distressed by the lifestyle of people who have no principles and live in a behavior of sexual freedom. We are cursed, vexed, full of confusion in everything we try to accomplish, we have abandon Yahweh, we have forgotten His council and continue to do wicked things, we are perishing quickly. Humanity is troubled with diseases and unclean spirits. We mistreat and oppress strangers and day after day, tormented by the immoral things people are doing. Man is at the mercy of his enemies, tricked and deceived as he slides down the road to destruction.47

Adonai sees that man has lost his vision. He is wandering around in darkness. He is in a war with an enemy who blinds his captives. The scripture tells us that, “Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keeps the law, happy is he”. There is no happiness when the spirit is vexed, it is impossible for him to keep the law. There is no enlightenment in the eyes of man; he is busy sleeping the sleep of death. Let us ask this question, “Has Adonai ever needed anyone's advice? Does He need instruction about what is good? Did someone teach Him what is right or show Him the path of justice?” There is no man, or woman, that can teach Adonai. There is no one wise enough to give Yahweh advice. 48

The enemy of Yahweh and man is also watching, constantly looking for opportunities to vex. Man is vexed with an evil eye from his enemy. The enemy guides humankind to the taking of goods and of life, broken faith between husband and wife, the desire of wealth, wrongdoing, deceit, and sins of the flesh, an evil eye, angry words, pride, and foolish acts. Deception and snares blind man, he is by nature a fool; “this is the evil in everything that happens under the sun: The same destiny overtakes all. The hearts of men, moreover, are full of evil and there is madness in their hearts while they live”, he has eyes in his head and yet walks in darkness.49

Yahweh is watching all of the meaningless things man does, “All his days his work is pain and grief; even at night his mind does not rest”. “All his days he eats in darkness, with great frustration, affliction and anger”. All of man’s activity is meaningless. As Adonai continues to watch his creation, He says, “Stop trusting in man, who has but a breath in his nostrils. Of what account is he?” Adonai Elohim says, “Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest”.50

Your enemy promotes the actions of vexation. Selah

 1.     My life is consumed by anguish and my years by groaning; my strength fails because of my affliction, and my bones grow weak, Ephesians 2:3 (NIV).

Do you have afflictions in life? Do you know how to get rid of them?

 2.     For man's anger does not bring about the righteous life that God desires, James 1:20 (NIV).

Do you have irritations? Do you know how to handle them? Do you know how to get rid of them?

3.     Then I applied myself to the understanding of wisdom, and also of madness and folly, but I learned that this, too, is a chasing after the wind. Ecclesiastes 1:17 (NIV)

Do you have troubles? Are you chasing after the wind? Do you look as silly as a dog trying to catch his tail?

What are you vexed about? Are you experiencing the vexation of the spirit?

This should be your captivating thought. “So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature”. Galatians 5:16
